Qualifications & Tickets

• Trade Qualification
• Tested in accordance with AS1796 or WPS to AS/NZS 3992
• Pre-Qualified to client procedures

Required Skillset & Experience

• Min 5 years’ Experience with Welding of Pressure Equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels and associated pipe work.
• Ability to read, understand engineering drawings
• Pipe welding Experience in fixed vertical, fixed horizontal, 45 degree and restricted positions
• Plate welding Experience in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positons
• Demonstrated ability to perform oxy-fuel gas cutting, plasma cutting and air arc gouging

Experience with working to the following standards for manufacture and welding related pressure work:

• AS/NZS 1200 – Pressure Equipment
• AS 1210 – Pressure Vessel
• AS1228 – Pressure Equipment Boilers
• AS2885.2 – Pipelines Gas and Liquid Petroleum Welding
• AS 4041 – Pressure Piping
• AS 4037 – Pressure Equipment Examination & Testing
• AS 4458 – Pressure Equipment Manufacture
• AS/NZS 3992 – Pressure Equipment – Welding And Brazing Qualification
